Desktop VS Code connected to a DTU or Gefion login node with Microsoft's Remote - SSH extension, for editing code, git
and submitting jobs on the cluster. settings.json keeps VS Code light on the shared node and,
on DTU, installs its server in project storage. tasks.json submits and follows jobs from
inside VS Code.
With aicentre
bash
aicentre check --connect # the ~/.ssh/config Host block VS Code connects with, and a test login
aicentre gallery get rem-lgn # tasks.json onto the cluster, for .vscode/ in a project
aicentre code # or VS Code in your browser, with nothing to installcheckprints the Host block each provider needs and tests the login, so "Remote-SSH: Connect to Host" works on the first try. Any Host name works.- The tasks call
aicentre submit, list jobsandlogson the login node, where aicentre keeps itself installed, so the same tasks work on DTU and Gefion.
