# Moving code and data to and from the clusters

Datasets and results between your laptop and the P1 clusters. Code goes with git, cloned on
the login node. Data goes through the login node, and a stopped copy picks up where it left off. The air-gapped P1 NGC HPC takes files only through its staging area, as its
[provider page](/providers/ngc/) describes.

## With aicentre

aicentre push datasets       # datasets/ into your project directory on the cluster
aicentre pull results        # results/ back to this folder
```

- `push` and `pull` use the same login as every other aicentre command, so a provider that asks
  for a password asks once.
- Paths on the cluster start in your project directory, `/dtu/p1/<username>` on DTU and your
  home directory on Gefion. `-p gefion` picks another provider than the first you use.
