# Privacy

## This website

This is a static documentation site. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking
scripts. Your theme preference (light/dark) is stored in your browser's local storage and never
leaves your device.

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages; GitHub may collect technical data such as IP addresses in its
server logs; see
[GitHub's privacy statement](https://docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-general-privacy-statement).

### Embedded forms

Some pages embed sign-up forms from Microsoft Forms and Google Forms. Loading those pages fetches
content from Microsoft and Google, and anything you submit through a form is processed by the
respective provider under its own privacy policy. We only receive the answers you submit.

## Cluster accounts

When you request access to a P1 cluster, we process the information you provide (name, university
email, affiliation, research description) to create and administer your account, verify
eligibility, and conduct the periodic user reviews described in the [terms](/terms/). Account
information is shared with the institution hosting the cluster you request access to (DTU, NGC,
or DCAI), which operates the system and acts as your point of technical support.

## Research data on the clusters

Data you store or process on the clusters is governed by the hosting institution's policies, not
by this site. For projects involving personal or sensitive data, use the
[P1 NGC HPC](/clusters/ngc/), and note that each project must carry a signed Data Processing
Agreement naming NGC as data processor. See the [terms](/terms/) and the per-cluster pages for
details. Data retention and deletion after account expiry follow the
[data retention policy](/terms/#data-retention-policy).
